In cooperation with Grassroot Soccer did we ran this project in 2018.
This is a project that is about SRHR, Life Skills and gender equality. The project create simple and powerful connection between soccer and life. The skillz approach enables young people to have relevant dicussion about their lives and challenges them to be captains in their communities. It builds skillz for young people to achieve their goals, stay in school, avoid unwanted pregnancey and child marriage, protect themselves and others from HIV and AIDS, and promote gender equality.
The skillz core curriculum is designed for Zambia adolescent girls and boys age 10 to 14 years. The 10 practice program uses soccer language metaphors and activities to address key drivers of school dropout, HIV, gender based violence, and a lack of access to critical health services.
